I assume that being on SI I am talking to a fairly “tech savvy” audience so hopefully you all can be of some positive input.

If you go to your profile, you’ll see a new block on the right for selecting the Bible version you’d like your Scripture pop-ups to use.



(The Libronix checkbox is for those with Libronix installed on their PC’s. This will allow you to click a link and open the Scripture passage in your Libronix.)



Once you’ve set the preferred translation, click Save.

A version of the SI 2.0 forum archive is now online for testing. Let’s call it “beta.”
The membership list and PM system are disabled and all forums are closed to posting. Search should work.

I’m wondering if there’s the ability to limit the level of quotations that are automatically inserted into a new post when the “quote” button is clicked. In other words, when I quote somebody who has quoted someone else, I only want their quote in my post, not the person they quoted too. (and I’ve seen it go deeper than that: quoting a person who has quoted another person who has quoted yet a third person. so, I end up with four levels of quotation in my post.)

Am I making any sense? :P

Pastor Bob Bixby will be preching for us tomorow at Southeast Valley Baptist Church. We are celebrating 10 years of ministry. It was 10 years ago we constituted as an autonomous congregation. Breakfast at 8 AM. Special service at 9:15 AM. A great Gospel concert with the Heritage Quartet at 2 PM.

Is it possible to get full text feeds so we can read an entire post in a news aggregator?

The new SharperIron is already much easier to follow in a news aggregator than the previous version. Those “split posts” (one for the article and one for the comments) were frustrating and not too efficient.

In God’s providence, two dear ladies from PCC ended up across the hall from each other in a Pensacola hospital: Mrs. Dee Shimmin, awaiting a heart transplant; and Mrs. Debi McLamb, awaiting a procedure to install a stint in a renal artery. Please join me in praying for these two long-time PCC employees.

I started a new thread in the Fundamentalism forum, but it never popped up on the Foundry. Are certain forums not linked to the Foundry, or do OP’s not show up?

Herself and I will be in Tempe, AZ for a writers’ conference over the Fourth of July weekend (arr am Thurs dept Sunday pm). We’ll be with Brother Joel aka the Li’L Dr. T. on Sunday morning presenting our work in Sacramento.

There was a roll over accident east of Tucson yesterday. I found out this morning that the accident involved the Burundian refugee group that my husband and I are ministering to. They were on their way to a job site. So far, I know that six have been killed, and at least 12 are hospitalized in critical condition. I’m waiting for more information. Please pray for the families involved, and for those of us who are in a position to minister to them.
