“ ‘comfort’ is not the normal way that verb gets translated in the New Testament. Most often, this extremely common verb, parakaleō, gets translated [as] ‘encourage,’ ‘exhort,’ or ‘urge,’ but only rarely as ‘comfort.’” - Kenneth Berding

Discussion

Sharper Iron will go offline Saturday evening 7/18/26 for upgrades.

The site is getting a visual design refresh, some new features, moving to version 11 of the Drupal platform, and also moving to an upgraded server instance.

The work could take a day or two. Most should be seeing the new site by Monday 7/20.

We’ll go offline around 9 PM Central 7/18.
