Christian Parents: What to Do When Your Kids Want to Transition Their Gender

“Moments like these require discernment, a biblical posture and convictions, and an intentional discipleship plan. What does this look like practically?” - TGC

My niece is (or was) in that place, and one of the things to look into is what other mental health issues might be there. One of the scariest things I can think of is that about half of trans-identifying people are also on the autistic spectrum, and the claim is that many of these people may be transitioning because their caregivers don't know the difference between "don't fit in because autism" and "don't fit in because wrong gender."

But that noted, I think that one of the key issues is to affirm femininity and masculinity as good, even when expressed differently.
