Discussion

The key has always been individual states and the electoral college. I will submit my guess after the next debate. If Trump repeats his failure from the last debate, unless some unexpected news occurs about Clinton, she will win.

Trump should use Sunday night’s debate/town hall meeting to formally and sincerely ask forgiveness for his comments. If he does this properly (and that’s the key), he could help himself tremendously. He should bring the issue up himself, as early in the debate as possible, look people in the eye, including Clinton, and project honest sincerity (if he can). The hypocrisy on this issue is glaring. The kind of talk he used is common today, even by those who are now condemning him. His opponents see this as a good political weapon, which it is. What people say in secret often comes back to haunt them.

I will post my electoral college guess no later than Wednesday.

By the way, a few days ago I wrote a letter to the Ft. Wayne Journal-Gazette about the election. It was a short open letter to Clinton and Trump - We’ll see if they publish it. They usually publish my letters.

Proverbs 29:11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.

If Trump loses, Christians should thank God for protecting us from submitting to his authority and leadership.

Ps 29:11 applies to both Trump and Clinton. I agree with JBL’s comment. But the problem is that BOTH candidates are morally and ethically unqualified to be President. And that’s the dilemma for us.

Electoral College: Clinton - 340, Trump - 198

Senate: Repub - 52, Dem - 48

House: Repub - 238, Dem - 197

3rd Congressional District, Indiana: Winner - Jim Banks, Repub

Democrats start the Electoral College with a big advantage, and the swing states seem to be going for Clinton.
