“…students will hear Southern Baptist Convention President J.D. Greear and Yaqeen Institute founder Imam Omar Suleiman discuss how evangelicals and Muslims can find a way forward ‘in a time of unprecedented division and distrust.’ The conversation, hosted by the Veritas Forum… is co-sponsored by the school’s Muslim Students Association, its Cru and InterVarsity clubs, and Neighborly Faith” - RNS

According to his bio from his church website, Greear did his PhD on early Christian theology and Islam. I expect this will be an interesting night!

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.

Grear had an excellent lecture on Aninism at the Detroit conference. It was very interesting. He is obviously very well-read and a very good speaker.

Too late to edit but I realized that it was JD Crowley that spoke at the Detroit conference not JD Grear. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
