Gay, transgender youth at 'significantly higher risk' of suicide than heterosexual peers: study
“A systematic review and meta-analysis of 2.5 million adolescents published in JAMA Pediatrics concluded that ‘sexual minority youths’ — those identifying as ‘homosexual,’ ‘bisexual,’ ‘transgender’ — ‘have a significantly higher risk of life-threatening behavior compared with their heterosexual peers.’” - CPost

To be published in our Sunday bulletin:
Youth who identify as homosexual, bisexual, and transgender have a significantly higher risk of suicide and life-threatening behavior compared with heterosexual youth, according to an extensive study published in JAMA Pediatrics, 2018. Biblical morality is better, safer, and should be widely taught. It is not loving to affirm sinful, self-destructive behavior.

I remember seeing similar statistics from the campus homosexual club when I arrived at Michigan State in 1987, and a pastor friend of mine (whose brother died of AIDS) saw about the same thing in research from the 1960s that he’d looked up for obvious reasons.
The big question is why; most homosexuals won’t challenge this result, but will claim that it has to do with social rejection and bigotry instead of the nature of their behavior and such. Now to be sure, we can say “well, we accept this more than we ever have, and statistically things don’t seem to be getting any better”, but really I think this kind only comes out through prayer and fasting.
Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
