What’s more self-degrading than prophesying that your guy is going to win an election? What’s more self-degrading than being wrong and publicly apologizing? What’s more self-degrading than trying to withdraw the apology?

This guy just can’t stop stepping in it.

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.

….for commending him for at least trying to apologize. :^)

Seriously, false prophecy is a big deal in the Scripture, as it’s putting words into God’s mouth. The gentleman, and really the whole church leadership, might do well to use this COVID and election crisis to take a break and study the matter Biblically.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

If we lived in a theocracy, the problem could be quickly solved. Since we live in a representative democracy/republic with Bill of Rights guarantees, then we watch with disgust.
