Mark Ward: I can’t seem to find a single person in all of KJV-Onlyism who has ever publicly asked the question, “How do we know when English has changed so much that the KJV will need to be revised or updated?” They don’t seem interested in imagining circumstances in which their viewpoint is overturned.

A rule of thumb in logic; if a hypothesis cannot be disproven, neither can it be proven. There are a lot of other facets to the debate over Bible manuscripts and translations, but at a certain point, it all comes down to whether the participants are engaging in the linguistic and textual debates honestly. Mark’s question plunges to the heart of this.
