Fox tries to spin it and make it look like heroic patriotism vs. oppression. They don’t bother to mention that while the church follows CDC guidelines (or claims it does), it is not complying with state rules.

The pastor called Gov. Charlie Baker’s threats of fines and jail time “an intimidation tactic on our right to have a church.” He said the small, inner-city church is spending more than any other church just to prove a point and go “well above reproach” in following CDC guidelines.

Nothing wins people to Christ like telling your community “you all have to follow the rules but we don’t!”

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.
