…..my point is that even at the Bible study stage, you’re going to have situations where Biblical reproof is necessary from time to time, and it’ll be pretty smart to have some kind of structure in place to deal with them. You would perhaps not have elders, but you’re still going to follow as best you can God’s prescription in Matthew 18, no?

Please keep us updated on how your church plant grows! I knew a church I used to be a member of that went from meeting in their small apartment to meeting in a karate building to having their own building in about ten years or less. The church started out with less than the amount of members you have now, and I don’t know how many they have now but I don’t think it’s hundreds.
