Are you considering voting for a third party candidate?

Forum category

There is a lot of talk about Christians examining the Constitution Party or the Libertarian Party as possible voting choices. Assuming it is Trump Vs. Clinton (and it is too early to assume that for certain, but we will assume this for purposes of this poll), what are your thoughts about voting 3rd party? A wasted vote? A statement? A possible win?

after the Dems became the party of abortion and abomination. Along the way, I have voted for the American Independent Party and Libertarian.

Hoping to shed more light than heat..

It appears that the RNC is supporting the third party within its own ranks (Kasich). It has ignored its conservative base for too long and underestimated Trump’s ability to activate that base. It also despises Cruz and has lost control. Maybe a Trump nomination will blow up the GOP and that may not be a bad thing.

I most likely will not vote. I don’t like any of the candidates, so all I would be voting for is an individual that I don’t agree with, but would be the lesser of many evils. Doesn’t make sense to me.

I always vote. The only way i vote for Trump is if he is against Sanders. Hillary and Trump are pretty much the same (The Trump berore the election). But I will write someone in. And there are other things to vote for besides president.

I will be writing someone in. I decided back when McCain was the nominee that I am only voting for conservatives/libertarians from now on. I am personally done with voting for “the lesser of two evils.” Obviously the Hitler or Stalin illustration is an extreme case to make the point but at some point one has to say “I can’t support that.” Everyone has a different threshold but I reached mine a while back.
