What Christians Should Know About the ‘Great Replacement’ Theory
“The Great Replacement theory is the latest version of a century-old white genocide conspiracy theory. At the root of the theory is the claim that ‘elites’—especially Jews—are deliberately plotting to reduce or eliminate white people in the United States and Europe.” - TGC

Again, another fringe theory that is embraced by the right as well as White Evangelical Christians. Why are so many in the church embracing these elements? I know many of you may not be exposed to this, but in very conservative Florida, it is all too prevelant in the church. We should be the group that is at the 5% to 9% of the embracers of this idea. Again, I think this continues to be a result of the lack of theology in our church.
Forgot to add the link to the surveys on this.

It seems like the main ones promoting the replacement theory today are liberal Democrats. with their open borders policy. They are convinced that with more immigrants; more will vote Democrat.
The problem for them may be that more Hispanics, Blacks, and Asians are beginning to lean toward conservative Republican ideas, and voting Republican.
Regardless, our job as Believers to endeavor to point all races to Jesus Christ. Pray for Spiritual Awakening in America.

That’s exactly why the far-right fear mongers such as Tucker Carlson have been way off about the “the great replacement.” Latino evangelicals overwhelmingly voted for Trump, while the Catholic Latinos voted for Biden. There’s a group of 40,000 Hispanic churches (National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference) that are planting about 20,000 Hispanic churches this decade especially among immigrants and refugees, whereas the Catholic church rarely plants new congregations. the Hispanic Catholic progressives are about addition, (adding people to their stagnating churches) whereas the Hispanic evangelicals who are conservative are about multiplication (planting evangelistic oriented churches) Multiplication wins every time. When 1st generation Hispanics become citizens, they end up voting Republican because their evangelical pastors who are discipling them preach against abortion (womb to the tomb pro-life ethic) and preach a biblical sexual ethic, rejecting the LGBTQ cultural trends of the day.
Those that make spurious statements such as “That’s exactly why the far-right fear mongers such as Tucker Carlson have been way off about the ‘the great replacement,’” clearly haven’t listened to him on numerous occasions explain that the Democrats’ mantra “Demographics is destiny” isn’t working as designed. Here’s a recent example, where Tucker addresses that fact beginning at 9:30 (after playing a montage of Democrats, starting with the governor of Georgia waxing eloquent about the blue wave being composed of those…who are documented and undocumented.)
The Federalist provides much the same take -again playing Democrats in their own words espousing replacement theory without using those words as noted here.
Why lie about this? What do you hope to gain? French-like credibility with the Left? I sincerely don’t get it.

So you think I’m lying? Here are clips from Oct. 5th, 2021 where Tucker Carlson suggests that “the Great Replacement Plan is working. Its helping the Democrats. That’s the whole point!”

Why I call out media pundits such as Tucker Carlson constantly utilize logical fallacies to make their arguments. And I’ve watched many episodes of Carlson. If I had a dollar for every time Carlson says something like “the elites want us to shut up and obey” or “the elites don’t want us to question anything” or “the elites are trying to intimidate conservatives” I would have myself a brand new flat screen TV. Assuming motive of the opposition is by far one of the worst things one can do in our civil discourses. And sadly, you not only falsely accused me of lying, but you assumed my motive as well, which I consider a form of slander. But its often a cultural Fundamentalist’s MO to automatically think that a person who engages non-Christians differently than themselves must be looking for approval from non-believers. Far be it that be I actually care about truth! Or that I actually care about conservative Christians that I love who face the temptation of approaching a hostile, non-believing Culture with either a fight or flight response, which is all about control (opposite of faith). That the Fight response is begins by attacking our enemies, leading to dehumanizing non-Christians, leading to compromising morality for power, which leads to political power becoming the conservative Christian’s idol (Many progressives who call themselves Christians do the same thing as well).
Because of my job the last 30 years, I’ve interacted with many progressive politicians, professors, social workers, GR school board members, community organizers (many of whom would be considered socialists and a few Marxists) and none of these progressive elites fit the false caricature (“the elites want us to shut up and obey” or “the elites don’t want us to question anything” or “the elites are trying to intimidate conservatives”) that Carlson is creating in his McCarthyism-like diatribes where he demonizes progressive influencers. Now I realize that the circle of “elites” that I know aren’t well known names on a national scale. But some have been delegates of the democratic party and some have had national influence in their field of study or employment.
Let me also add that I’ve been canceled by several younger elites for being public about my womb-to-the tomb” pro-life position and a “welcoming but not affirming” posture when it comes to Biblical sexuality and the LGBTQ, but none are trying to use their power to shut me up, or intimidate me, or don’t want me to question anything.
