BJU Seminary Launches Journal of Biblical Theology & Worldview

“To aid the church in commending and defending the faith in our late modern context, the journal’s articles intend to exemplify rigorous study that is faithful to Scripture, consistent with our theological heritage, alert to current scholarship, and directed toward contemporary application.” - Eric Newton, Editor

Discussion

I was disappointed when they discontinued Biblical Viewpoint. I”m glad the seminary has committed to producing a theological journal. I wonder if it will be strictly online, or if they are publishing a hard copy version.

Great news. Dispensational, fundamental theological journals are few and far between.

First edition looks excellent.

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.

But I could be a bit prejudiced, since the editor is my son-in-law.

well, congrats, then. I think the first issue is outstanding

and I had a brief exchange with him about one of the articles. Really good work and good to see

I’ve read the introduction and one of the articles, and look forward to reading more. It looks like it will be a very worthwhile endeavor. I thank God for all four of our sons-in law, but have a special place in my heart for Eric because we are both preachers. I’m glad God has placed him in a location where his gifts are being used to the fullest, and his capacity is being stretched. He’s already way beyond me in gifts and ability, and is continuing to grow.
