AiG on Scientific method... and against flat earthers
“I emphasize that astronomy, being an observational science, rather than an experimental science, is still science. People must understand that the scientific method that they learned growing up was highly idealized, and it was presented in a manner that is tailor-made for experimental science, such as biology. But this description of the scientific method is much too restrictive.” - AiG

I don’t think he is correct in saying most FE’s reject a spherical moon. In fact I would say that most accept it as a necessary part of their model.

Why bother wasting your time arguing with them. The most absurd thing I’ve ever heard of.
People 2500 years ago knew the Earth was not flat.
as an astronomy professor who does the outreach for my school I am harrassed from time to time by these guys, most of whom claim to be Christian.
Mark,
I too have come across them, and have done a fair bit of research on the movement. What in your judgment are the best arguments against them?
