Gonna be interesting to see how the Pope reconciles his new position with older positions like Humanae Vitae. For whatever other virtues or vices Rome possesses, they have historically been against this sort of thing, and the claim at least was that the Catholic Church doesn't change.

I'm guessing either the response will be either a denial of the obvious, or some rhetorical gymnastics that makes Simone Biles bow down in awe. I'm guessing a mix of both.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
