Perhaps because they are not actually checking facts. Trusting one of the “fact” checkers (talk about a misnomer) for your information today is a fool’s errand.

If the Indianapolis Star wants to know why so many people instantly assumed that their piece was a hit job, all they need to do is to review the history of “shocking pieces that seem to support the narrative of the left.” Unfortunately, precious few of them were borne out in truth.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
