None of this is happening in my church now. It also wasn’t happening in my previous church, last I knew (not very long ago). I don’t doubt that it’s happening, so I wonder what sorts of churches are seeing this pattern.

It’s pretty much what the Rainers do. Demographic studies, consulting. So they’re in touch with a lot of churches. I suspect they’re most in touch with large churches though, so maybe what he’s described is a trend in the bigger ones.
