Church Shootings

“The man who took down the shooter who killed two people at a church in Texas last year will not be charged with murder. A Tarrant County grand jury has decided not to indict Jack Wilson for fatally shooting Keith Kinnunen, a decision praised by county prosecutor Tim Rodgers.” - C.Leaders

NewA good decision, but

…was it really necessary to take this to a grand jury? The whole event was on video, and it made clear that the shooting of Kinnunen was totally justified. He’d just killed two innocents. Perhaps it was necessary under Texas law, but there should be a point where we say “it’s really not necessary to incur these costs in a case this obvious.”

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
