For al the talk about calling, somehow I am always struck by the lack of Scriptural support for it. I remember asking Dr. Hauser from Central about it around 10-15 years back, and his response was that I wasn’t seeing things; that there is a calling to come to Christ, but vocational calling is somewhat dubious, Biblically speaking.

(I’d be glad to be proven wrong, but just haven’t seen an argument that I’ll buy yet)

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!
