…just how much would be left with some of the things I’ve seen. You have something of a “Hobson’s Choice” of vileness or nothing, as there are a lot of movies that you simply cannot “clean up” without just completely eviscerating the movie.

Side note; “Hobson’s Choice”, set in the working class areas of Victorian England, is excellent. We have a family friend who grew up in such housing in Everton, England. (Nil Satis Nisi Optimum! And when you grow up near Liverpool, or have friends from there, you’ll never walk alone.)
