And after reading this response, we now truly know why the young people are leaving the fringe in droves.
Posting is relevant because Jeff Amsbaugh is a hyper-Fundamentalist (in my view) (his anti-Calvinism remark). Also “elevation of extraneous issues – e.g. Bible versions” (Hyper-Fundy column) … see doctrinal statement here: “The King James Version of the Bible is a faithful, literal, and accurate translation of the Hebrew Masoretic manuscripts and the Greek Received Text, and is thus the superior version for the English language. Modern versions such as the NIV, NASV, and ESV, derived from corrupt manuscripts, are inferior.”
So … Amsbaugh being a hype-Fundamentalist … is there even a fundamentalist category for Bob Gray Sr.? (Cultic-Fundamentalist?)

Amsbaugh blows by the biggest issue for most ex-young-fundamentalists which is Calvinism. Would he maintain fellowship with a young fundamentalist Calvinist fellow pastor? If not, then no wonder they leave. Yet, he and many others like him love Spurgeon, I’ll never get that.
