Sunday School Curriculum
What Sunday School curriculum does your church use? Do you like it? Why, or why not?
My husband and I have recently been appointed by our pastor as the Children’s Ministry Coordinators of our small Baptist Church. The church has used Regular Baptist Press in the past, but hasn’t used much of anything for a while. We would appreciate any input regarding the selection of curriculum - should we stay with RBP? Is there anything better?

The Baptist Name in Church Planting!
I believe that most people on SI are probably Baptist by Belief and would whole heatedly consider themselves Baptists. They attend Baptist churches and they have in their church a constitution framed around the Baptist Distintives. My question is without the purpose of causing a stir, but rather to think of the effectiveness of church names. What would you put on your church sign at the end of the day if you were planting a church? Would you put your church name as _________ Baptist Church or would you put it as something else.

Ideas for low attendance for youth summer ministries.
Any ideas for keeping kids coming to your youth ministries over the summer? When I was a teen the fondest memories of youth group came from the summer ministries. Summer seems to open up a lot of doors for outreach and discipleship. But apparently, out here in Denver, the summer ministries really struggle in attendance and involvement. Our attendance has been MORE THAN CUT IN HALF over the summer. And the teens that do come are different every week. We were pulling 40-50 in the middle of the school year. As soon as summer hit we could be at 25 one week and 10 the next.

I have the honor of serving with BMM in northeast Brazil. One of my tasks is to encourage young people to consider joining us here in our ministry. If you know of anybody who is seriously considering missions, could you point them to a Facebook community we have started? It is called “Future Missionaries to Brazil”, and it is designed to be a place where prospective missionaries can ask questions and get feedback from “real, live missionaries”. Ten Years at SEVBC, Part 4
New Friendships
While grateful for the friendships of the past, we are also grateful for new friendships the Lord has given us. Recent friendships include a close relationship with ABWE (Association of Baptist for World Evangelism) as well as Shepherd’s Home (Union Grove, WI). Very important from the standpoint of a congregation would be the renewed relationship of sister assemblies in which we can work together.
