Some good points. I don’t why he keeps plugging “national sovereignty” in there, though. That’s a completely separate question… and actually pretty socialism-friendly, not an alternative to it.

Because the modern view of socialism is about the individual being equal to each other. Your identity is you, not as a member of a nation.
