Church of England: marriages remain valid after gender transition

"The marriage of worshipers who transition to a different gender will still be valid, the Church of England has said. The position extends only to worshipers who were in an opposite-sex relationship at the time of their marriage, it clarified." - Christian Post

It seems a little counter-intuitive that someone who "transitioned" could provide due comfort to their spouses per 1 Cor. 7, but I guess if those who become impotent or are maimed somehow accidentally are still married, the same would apply to those who do this.  That said, I would think that the spouse of someone who wanted to transition might say "honey, we have to talk..."

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
