SCOTUS Sends Gay-Wedding-Cake Case Back to State Court

"The Supreme Court on Monday declined to take up a case involving an Oregon bakery that refused to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding... foregoing an opportunity to clarify its position on the matter after ruling narrowly in favor of a Colorado baker in a similar case last year." - National Review

I tend to trust NR more than FoxNews on these things, but it is worth noting that one possible big reason for remanding this to the lower courts is because the lower courts in Oregon specifically ignored one of the big issues in the Colorado decision; the 1st Amendment and hostility to religion.  We should watch this carefully, because if it goes the wrong way, it's a significant infringement on the 1st Amendment guarantee of religious liberty.
