Just when I thought Mormonism couldn’t get any weirder.

The interesting side is that this group—whether “orthodox” or “heterodox” in Mormon theology I can’t quite make out—is essentially making out what ordinary people would call a supernatural version of Heaven as a naturalistic progression of man. I have long pointed out that since Mormons believe (see article) that their “god” progressed from humanity to deity, Mormonism is actually kind of atheistic. It’s kinda like the old Greek mythology without an explanation of Uranus and Gaia, really.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
