NewSubtleties and Moses

After reading the article by Cushman, I have to wonder if Moses truly intended all the subtleties that the author tries to highlight between chapters 1 and 2. In our angst to clarify supposed “discrepancies,” do we go too far and get a bit creative?

I think it’s clear that chapter 2 focuses on day 6 in the garden, whereas chapter 1 is universal in scope. However, I’m not convinced that Moses is specifying different species of plants and animals in chapter 2 verses chapter 1. That seems a bit of a stretch.
