I feel like the people in Anatevka in "Fiddler on the Roof."

Q: "Is there a blessing for the czar?"

A: "May God bless and keep the czar...far away from us!"

 1Ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty

It was almost as if that verse were written for such a time as this.
