He gets his job due to nepotism, gets promoted due to nepotism, gets fired because the school recognizes that at around age 32 or less, he has neither the experience nor the resume for that position, and now every time he applies for a job, his resume screams "watch out, this guy might feel entitled" to everyone who would interview him.

It is, IMO, an object lesson for every young person who gets offered a job that isn't plausibly his to take except on grounds like favoritism or nepotism. It can backfire badly.
