Why do most Americans still believe in some kind of god? Scripture is crystal clear here. "For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them." It has been revealed to mankind supernaturally by God, and thus ultimately cannot be taken away by anyone or anything. It can be supressed to a degree, but it is still there.
