A Baptist, Fundamentalist, Election Post-Mortem

My only concern post mortem is that the church looses its footing for the moral high ground. The church lacks the backbone to stand in the pulpit and cry out against sin. We see the election of Trump as a win, and loose the focus of the utter lack of morality that is entering into the WhiteHouse. America did not win last week. We praise a man for his willingness to put the Ten Commandments up in a court house, while he mocks those same commandments with his actions. I am not saying people on this site do that, but in general conservative evangelicals continue to avoid speaking against trump in the concerns that he might loose and we might get a Democrat. We say God is in control, but we seek to control the situation through our inaction. The focus of the church is to remain pure and proclaim Christ, not be concerned with projecting truth out of fear that it may hurt Trump and as a result we might get Kamala. No matter whether our actions hurt Trump or not, should not be a concern, God is in control. We should be concerned whether our actions reflect Christ.
