Personally, I’d love to see this happen. His chances don’t look great, though.

I realize all candidates are flawed. Best of humans are only human, at best—as somebody said. But Scott looks really good to me. I like his attitude, and I think he would see himself as “everyone’s president” rather than “the right’s president” or, worst, “president for me, myself, and I.”

He might even have a bit of persuasive power toward the middle and middle-left. Some actual listening could happen!

One can always hope and pray.
