Joel Osteen or Fortune Cookie?
From article: “Note: Many, many fortune cookies were harmed in the preparation of this quiz.”
I appreciated the post, but I am surprised that after 20 years of preaching this is the first time he has ever called out a false teacher by name.
Why is it that my voice always seems to be loudest when I am saying the dumbest things?
I recently pointed out another false teaching of Joyce Meyer from her book Battlefield of the Mind, namely, the idea that Satan can send thoughts into a believer’s mind.
I have gotten a lot of disagreement and pushback, both from believers in my own church as well as the larger evangelical community. The errors that the writer mentions are real, but I wouldn’t trust Meyer’s counsel as much as he would!
[Chip Van Emmerik]I appreciated the post, but I am surprised that after 20 years of preaching this is the first time he has ever called out a false teacher by name.
I wondered the same thing. What took him so long?
