Church Ministries Representative, serving in the Midwest, for The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry
Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.
[Aaron Blumer] I said blended but I’m not sure that really fits. We sing some newish music, a few choruses, but only what seems to be solid and of enduring value. So maybe that’s just “traditional”?The poll is about direction, not where you are at.
I understand the 80’s time warp. Baby boomers are not facing that they are now old. Big problem.

[Jim Peet] We’re adding a Cowbell Choir. Less expensive and easier to play than handbells. (Our music pastor will kill me if he sees this!)Where’s the beef?

[Aaron Blumer]… well for direction, specifically, I’d need an entry that says “Direction? What direction?” or maybe “Movement is too slow to chart a trajectory.”What he said. Our church is pretty much the same, which is why I didn’t answer this poll either.
I guess that’s pretty much “staying the same.”
