If you take Revelation even half literally the progression Rosling sees eventually ends in a crash of enormous proportions. Then the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Chirst (Rev.11:15).
Still, might as well appreciate progress in the mean time.

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.

this seems really simplistic and misleading. there has doubtlessly been many improvements in some respects, but still… one big problem with this is using the dollar as the axis for wealth. is he accounting for a major drop in the purchasing power of the dollar? For example i read that you could buy a car for less than 400 dollars in the mid 20s. so who is better off 4,000 a year with $400 cars or 40,000 a year with $20,000 cars? And i’m pretty sure houses didn’t cost 200k in 1810.
