God's Ordinary Means of Grace Are All You Need
….is that I don’t believe I ought to call the ordinances of the Lord’s Supper and Immersion “means of grace”, but the central point he makes is well taken. We can get too smart by half at times, and we need to concentrate on what God calls us to do.

I may make a “Theology Thursday” excerpt out of the concept of the ordinances as a “means of grace.” I think the idea, properly understood, is very helpful. The actual term may not be as helpful.
