NewGothard/Pearl view

Tue, 03/26/13

He left out the view held by some that have been influenced by Gothard and the Pearls. Your children should sit completely still with their hands on their laps and not make a sound during the church service even if you have 4 of them under 5 years of age and your wife has to sit alone with them while you are in the pulpit because nurseries are just for the rebellious children who cannot sit still. I am so thankful that hardly anyone holds that view.

NewI think view number one has

Tue, 03/26/13

I think view number one has it correct and it best harmonizes 1 Tim 3 with Titus 1. Mark Dever’s oldest adult daughter is not a believer. I hardly think that Mark is disqualified as an elder.
