At a time when U.S. embassies are being attacked and when people are getting killed over an offensive, adolescent and puerile film targeting Islam - beyond pathetic in its tawdriness – we must begin to own up to the reality of evangelical Islamaphobia.
Evidence is mounting that this movie really had almost nothing to do w/it.

I agree that he was wrong on just about everything. That’s why I thought the article was of interest to SI readers.
Personally, I think it’s pretty sad the way people are falling all over themselves to put all the responsibility for the uprisings on anything but those who caused or took part in them.
