A change in state law, which affects about half of the colleges statewide, allows the school to include the student’s true course of study on diplomas. Before the Legislature approved the law in June, a student - even someone graduating with the required coursework and certification to be a teacher - received a bachelor of science in Bible. Now those students can have “Bachelor of Science in Education” on their diplomas
