if the comedian’s the only one calling out the kings new clothes, what’s that say for the rest of the senators?

the study fof cited has a section where they clearly define what they mean by “nuclear family”. is the best support fof can find for one of the main points of their position to completely misapply a study that says nothing at all about homo- vs heterosexual families?

if fof really just thinks that homosexuality is deviant behavior and blue laws should be put back on the books because they want to keep the national morality in line with conservative christian morality, why don’t they just come out and say that instead of scrounging around for some secular study that doesn’t even tangentially support their point?

NewFranken was right...

I think Franken was right, if the facts are as given. If the study does define “nuclear family” as said, and if gay couples were not excluded from the sample group, and if the FoF rep. indicated otherwise, he is a bad source of information. He either cannot read a study without being overly influenced by his own viewpoint (which is probably also true of Franken, BTW), or he was being deceptive.

That doesn’t mean that what the FoF representative said about a Biblically-defined family unit is wrong. It just means he can’t prove it from the study in question.
