"The problem is not homophobia but theophobia — a hatred by some of God"

Frankly, I think the monogamy laws will crumble without a fight. The next “fight” (which we’ll lose) will be about sibling incest/marriage. Just my humble opinion.

I was deeply involved in the battle to save marriage here in New York State. I can tell you from my many interactions with our opponents that they are very open and supportive of other types of marriage. Polygamy is fine with them as long as all the people in the relationship are “in love.”

Dolan is also right in his concerns about persecution. Here is what I recently told the Albany Times Union:
They told us we would have protections if they made this change, but outside of incorporated religious organizations, there is no protection for individuals who simply want to cling to the understanding of marriage as it has always been. In doing this, they did more than change a truth; they marginalized those who choose to stay committed to that truth. How could this be good for our society?
The Jewish Leaders are also very concerned about persecutions they will face because of their position on marriage. One day while I was at the Capital, the gay marriage supporters were taunting the Rabbis by telling them that they support Hamas. That took place just outside the Senate Lobby.

Lots of cause for concern because of the moral mess we are in. Lots of comfort comes from knowing God is in the throne. What an incredible time for Bible-believing Christians to be counted as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Following the Lord could cost us American believers more than ever before but the grace of God can enable us to be counted faithful to Him.
