The end of Car Talk? House strips NPR of funding
Democratic opponents call it an ideological attack that would deprive local stations of access to programs such as “Car Talk” and “All Things Considered.”
Sharper Iron will go offline Saturday evening 7/18/26 for upgrades.
The site is getting a visual design refresh, some new features, moving to version 11 of the Drupal platform, and also moving to an upgraded server instance.
The work could take a day or two. Most should be seeing the new site by Monday 7/20.
