I’m not sure if it’s appropriate to post this here or not (I have faith that the moderators will let me know), but I want to give a public shout out to how the Holy Spirit used Ron Bean in my life.

A couple of site improvements are undergoing testing this weekend, one already in progress.
I am looking for a new sign for our church. So far I am getting bids of $8,000 to $16,000. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to develop/purchase a sharp looking sign that doesn’t cost so much?
We’re testing time limited comment editing again. Had this feature more most of a couple of years then lost it for a while with the site upgrade last fall.
For those curious about why we’d want to limit editing time on comments, it’s basically this: frequent editing long after posting tends to result in threads that become incoherent because people have posted in response to stuff that isn’t there anymore.
There is clearly a problem with the read statistics calculations currently. They may be disabled soon for a while to troubleshoot.
