Jack Schaap in court today in an orange Porter County Jail jumpsuit and leg irons

Hammond pastor pleads guilty in federal sex case

Schaap told Lozano he had someone else — who was not named during the proceedings — drive the victim to locations in both Crete, IL., and western Michigan for the encounters. He told Lozano what he did “was a sin. It was wrong.” But he also claimed he did not realize it was illegal at the time he was carrying out the acts.

Discussion

Jim, what is said by CJones may well be true, but his testimony to it is not verification. I doubt you know CJones personally, you have only his testimony to the allegation, you don’t have independent confirmation. His say-so isn’t verification.

It’s really rumour mongering and shouldn’t be speculated on. It probably shouldn’t even be allowed to appear without independent confirmation.
