Jwolf, I don’t question the accuracy of that commentary.
1 Kings 8:60 - so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God and that there is no other.
I was saved using the NIV. It may be an accurate translation, but it always felt like I was reading a spiritual office memo. I personally prefer the ESV. The NIV is good, however. Most of my commentaries use it. A few use the ESV.
