I agree with the quote in the article that says there is a double standard. I would not be opposed to women serving voluntarily in front-line combat, *IF* (and for many, that’s a big IF), they can meet the exact same standards as the men.
To allow any in the combat unit who can’t meet the standards would do a great disservice to the whole unit.
