NewAnalysis Probably Inaccurate: Duh

Thu, 08/23/12

Although the Barna poll claims to be anonymous, when it comes to highly personal subjects, people are not going to say anything embarrassing over the phone. For one thing, who knows that the person calling won’t pass on the info and phone number to someone else? Who might overhear the conversation? And people, talking to people, are inhibited.

The only way to take a true poll is to do it on paper where people have a private area to fill it out and put it in a box while other people are doing the same so they are assured of privacy and anonymity.

The Barna group wasted their time, and are thus left guessing. Duh!

NewIt may be true

that women aren’t being honest about their struggles, but I can totally understand the outcome of this poll. I am much more focused on organizing my life and accomplishing a variety of tasks efficiently than I am ogling men or wishing I had a new dishwasher.

I would say it was accurate! I know how much being organized would pave the way for my spiritual growth and service. Wasted time is a FREQUENT lamentation.
