I’m reminded of how my step-dad remarried about 15 months after the death of my mother, and it’s a good thing. Both still cherish the spouses who died, but praise God they’re strong enough to need and enjoy a new spouse.

My only unease in this case is that the new Mrs. Blackburn is a divorcee, but I trust they’ve made sure that that parting was Biblical in nature.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
