NewGames held by practicioners of genocide

The most famous, of course, is 1936 Berlin and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but you also have 1980 in Moscow, 2008 in Beijing, and Sochi in 2014. That noted, these are Olympics hosted by regimes that either would soon (Nazi Germany) or had stopped (Moscow, Beijing, Sochi) committing genocide. The 2022 Winter Olympics is a first in that the host nation is currently practicing genocide with a well established set of concentration camps in place.
