NewNot surprising

It is not surprising that Rick Warren has said these things as he has been heading in this direction for a while. Rick Warren is not ignorant of Romanism, but he is following the direction that Billy Graham established long ago. Warren’s PEACE plan leads him to work with Muslims and homosexuals, as well. Warren has also embraced Roman Catholic mysticism, so again, it is not surprising he would embrace Rome or the Pope. Paul’s words are clear in how to deal with Rick Warren: “If any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed” (2 Thess.3:14). Sadly, the SBC and many evangelicals still embrace Rick Warren in spite of his disobedience to “mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned: and avoid them” (Rom. 16:17).

NewRoman Catholicism

I have a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and I have referred to it often. It is truly horrifying and un-Biblical. There is no peace with the Roman Catholic system. There is much that could be said, but suffice it to say that Warren has gone too far. How many will he lead astray!?

I thought White”s video response was excellent and powerful.

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.
